On an increasing number of websites I visit with Firefox the dialogue boxes are blank. There is no facility for entering details -- name, email address and such, the box is missing these. Boxes requiring a tick are also missing.

This does not happen with Konqueror, Seamonkey and Opera. All their dialogue boxes work as they should.

My kernel is not the latest -- 2.6.22.15 -- but is serving me well enough. Could that be the cause of the problem?

Thanks for any help
Maurice

Another thing...

Would your problem be similar to this?

Andy

EDIT: Links to the sites that gives you hassle would help to diagnose the problem. Also some specs / info about which PCLinuxOS version do you use. I am not the sharpest tool in the drawer but if I can ask enough questions You may give me the answer that will help someone else to diagnose and help you solve your problem.

Yes fully updated.

Addons - Adblock, Stumbleupon, Vacuumplaces

Not unlike that problem but not the same.

Sites that gave me trouble in the last few days - My online bank -- ubank.com.au -- but this would not help as you cannot login.

Another site today was a horse racing spam or optin site -- www.bfmiracle.com. I get a number of these as racing is a bit of a hobby and I like to respond to some of them.Grin  This one is casing that trouble right now.

Can't recall others offhand. Some are unimportant but to visit my bank I have to use another browser and that is a pain as my other browsers don't have all my bookmarks etc and importing is a hit and miss thing.

I use Minime  2009 with kde4.3.2 fully updated.

Have you tried disabling Adblock, as I know this program can cause all sorts of problems and has done for me in the past.

My word - that did it. Grin What a simple fix. Many thanks Sleepy. Also AndrzejL

Now I'll have to look for something to replace Adblock.
