Hi
Is there a special procedure to follow using synaptic after installing to hd ? I mean do one have to install some packages first (danish packages) or can
I just mark all upgrades and go ahead?

Do the updates first, then run addlocale.

Hi
Thanks for reply. I am glad to know. After this new installation the sounds for events have disappeared and also I can not install vlc. I get this from synaptic when I try to install vlc:
vlc:
Depends: vlc-plugin-mad
Depends: vlc-plugin-a52
Depends: vlc-plugin-ogg
Depends: vlc-plugin-theora
Depends: libvlccore.so.2
Depends: libvlc.so.2
Depends: libxcb-keysyms.so.0 but it is not installable
