Hello people Smiley. I've installed virtual box 3.1.2 along with the guest additions. I've setup my xp installation to the letter.
But, my Xp resolution won't go beyond 800 x 600. These are my configurations so far.

General :
Name :Winxp
OS Type: Windows Xp

System:
Base Memory: 512
Processors: 1
Boot Order CD/DVD-Rom

Vt-x/AMD-V: enabled
Nested PAging : enabled

Display:
Video Memory: 128MB
3D Acceleration: enabled
2D Acceleration: Enabled

etc,.. you get the idea

Now when I start the Xp, It runs great. However I can't change the display settings to go above 800 x 600.
Can someone help me out. Thanks.

you said you installed guest additions, you did not say you restarted windows xp after you install them. I asked if you restarted windows xp because i can not see that info in your original post. I also asked if mouse integration works to see if guest additions works correctly or not
