Dear All,
I just tried to make a remaster of the current pc. I finished it perfectly and tried and tested in Virtual Box.
But it is not like what the original cd that you guys (pclos) distribute. I get an error "/home/tim not found" and it eventually drops back to the /root with a message.
Now how can i make it do with a guest and root login.
Please keep in mind that i just installed everything and want to burn to a disc for my dad to test it in a computer in his office. So i want it to give only two options with guest and root login access.
I don't want my user name there. Is there any idea? (it should be fresh with new user option)
I already used --nodir=^/home/tim and the whole process was done in command prompt (GUI didn't work)

Thanks!

Tim

It remasters exactly what you have, less the bits you tell it to ignore.

If you want a universal install remaster with root and guest accounts you need to remaster from a system with root and guest accounts. (Don't connect a system with such weak passwords to the Internet unless you want trouble.) The usual way to do that is to set it up on a spare partition or in a virtual machine.
