Is the same error message displayed?
YES, I can do what I want pcc, mcc, /usr/sbin/drakconf, reinstall drakconf, the error remains on the computer runs LXDE with partial KDE4 (I need digikam, krename ... ) system is up2date I'm not clear what you mean by " partial KDE4"... Given the way PCLOS is setup, I can't imagine that would be a good working environment. How did you implement it? what I mean with partial? I run LXDE, but I need also krename, digicam, ... that is what I mean with partial other PC with KDE 4 run without problems and yilan198711 wrote: oh my god my pcc have the same problem
what can i do ? I use PCLOS since 2006, but now I can't resolve that problem

Oh. I thought you meant you had KDE3/KDE4 both installed Sorry. Not sure about your original problem...did it say that some of the files were not executable? Have you check the permissions on those files (not sure why they would get changed, though)...

hi pags,
It's all a bit confusing and English is not my native language. at the moment there are more and more problems, much can I solve alone 5 years before, I've converted me from windows to PCLOS; in these 5 years I've gotten used to KDE now we have kde4 and more and more problems (if it is not due to kde, then perhaps it is random)
saludos

ok lets go Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0". no idea what that means, but probably not so important "/usr/sbin/rpmdrake" is not executable [Install Software] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 782. "" is not executable [Mandriva Update] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 782. "/usr/sbin/edit-urpm-sources.pl" is not executable [Software Media Manager] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 782. "/usr/sbin/drakguard" is not executable [Parental Controls] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 782. that only means that these programs are not installed, not important SEGV standalone::bug_handler() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/standalone.pm:221 standalone::__ANON__() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/mygtk2.pm:1428 (eval)() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/mygtk2.pm:1428 mygtk2::flush() called from /usr/lib/libDrakX/ugtk2.pm:57 ugtk2::gtkflush() called from /usr/sbin/drakconf.real:1027 GLib-WARNING **: g_main_context_prepare() called recursively from within a source's check() or prepare() member. at /usr/lib/libDrakX/mygtk2.pm line 1428. My apologies. I was picking up on the Spanish words OK. I ran pcc, and yes, I got the same missing elements. No big deal there. My ran fine, without the errors you're getting. Have you confirmed you're fully up to date? If so, from what repository? It might be worth while to try changing your repo (even if it's only temporary), and trying to see if there are any additional updates. Maybe try with a couple (I'm using pclosusers, but then again, I've also upgraded to KDE4 recently to get around some upgrade issues I was having while still on 3 (might have been a cop-out, but I was going to go there eventually, anyway ).

Same problem here, and, can not remove the current libwebkitgtk without breaking Gimp, Drakconf, Userdrake, Sane and lots more.
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance.

The curious thing is I have this package (last upgraded on 6th Jan) and no problems with any of these apps, so there must be another factor involved.
Looking at the drakconf.real script further, it seems the crash happens when PCC tries to build all the pages of links to the actual applications after probing what is available on your particular system, so the reason some see it and not others is likely to be a matter of what is installed in your system. I suspect this means hardware, drivers, and possibly applications used for certain functions, rather than a fault in PCC or even webkit itself. Tracking it down will mean those of you who have this problem giving full system specs including all hardware, drivers, and any software that isn't on a standard install. If a common pattern emerges that will point to the problem. As one who doesn't suffer the problem I wish you well in the search.

I found a method to get around this problem. I did clean a install from the 2009.2 cd, installed my video driver (nvidia), rebooted, applied the task Kde4, rebooted, deleted all the unneeded programs and drivers using synaptic package manager, rebooted, applied all of the updates, rebooted and Control Center and as far as I can tell everything else is working properly.
