Rather than pcc, in your terminal enter /usr/sbin/drakconf to start PCC.

When I had problems with PCC being very very slow it was suggested Canberra be removed via Synaptics which is what I did and it worked a treat - not sure whether this will cure your problem - if not someone else on the forum may be able to point you in the right direction.

In your terminal enter /usr/sbin/drakconf to start PCC. mcc, pcc all linked to /usr/sbin/drakconf that isn't the problem and we aren't alone Gnome-Forum or -> moremenotu, canberra isn't installed saludos

Is ok on my minime install, my kde4 install, my lxde install and my E17 install. I'll check Gnome in a few. Maybe you don't have all the updates yet?

Have you looked in Synaptic at drakconf? Maybe try reinstalling it? It may be a deeper problem, but that might do something to help in the interim.
I don't exactly know how it happened, but not too long ago I lost Synaptic! I went through the apt-get sequence, ending with apt-get synaptic, and it all came back.

Have you tried starting pcc from the start menu and/or from the konsole in the root account, and are the results the same when compared to the user account? And what exactly does not work with OO? Any helpful command-line output? -p.

Mal schauen, was mir dieses Jahr noch an Überraschungen bringt. sorry, had no desire to translating saludos

Hi margarita, good to hear OO works again. At present, a major update is taking place and this ride can be a bit bumpy at times. Rest assured that things will get fixed asap. And any details leading to the source of a given problem are highly appreciated regards, -pinoc

Given the way PCLOS is setup, I can't imagine that would be a good working environment. How did you implement it?
