Curious situation with recent disc burned using a mklivecd custom script.  Script had been used in the past effectively.  Now however the live-cd will boot just fine in the original machine which created it.  But it hangs up on my spare.  Clicked the SATA probe to no avail.

What issues may cause it to boot fine on one but not with another?

Different hardware, needing different drivers. Did you set harddrake to run at boot before making the .iso?

Of what use be there for joy, if not for the sharing thereof?

According to PCC it is set to run at boot.  Is there another place that needs to be checked?

I've since had the opportunity to check the disc on other machines where it works as expected.  Surprised the one machine fails.
