Hey Everyone:

I have this same problem on my Compaq.

I solved it via the following:
Go to: www.atheros.cz & choose Vista 32/64
Go to the bottom of the page & click download (Either 32/64 bit asapplicable to your system)

I downloaded Vista-7.7.0.331-whql.zip for Windows 7

I extracted to same folder where the WinZip was downloaded.

I then started the network setup via Control Center (Must Login as Root)

Go to Network/Internet

Choose New Interface>Wireless

Choose the folder where you extracted the WinZip drivers to & select netathw.inf

Control Center will test your connection & you will be up & running

I have actually done this & my wireless interface is running perfectly !

Take Care !!

Mikey
