Have seen this in tips&tricks before,but, it seems to have disappeared, tried these on mine it does run faster, tried "fasterfox" no difference.

The max value for pipelining is eight, so thirty gets you eight.  I haven't tried fasterfox, but there is another addon called tweak network that allows you to easily change the max connections values, which may help with speed.  Also, last time I checked, the gang has already tweaked the pipelining values.  At least on PCLOS, I found the default values to be as fast, if not faster, than anything I did.
