I'm a Canadian who has lived in the US for 10 years. I'll admit I got a bit choked up watching the scenes of Canada during the show. I've been to Vancouver twice, it's a beautiful and great city. Been to Whistler once - didn't ski, drank a lot  I lived in Calgary during the 88 Olympics. My army unit marshalled the atheletes from a nearby skating rink to the stadium for the opening and closing ceremonies. That was kind of neat.  |
