If you have a Pass account but not able to connect to the Pass server, please reply to this thread so I can get your IP address.  I need to get it taken off the ban list.  Those who got bumped while the server was frozen and continued to retry would have been banned from the server for 'spam'.  The Venus Flytrap is our guardian angel and keeps hackers out/off PASS. Unfortunately when we have a server problem even those with valid accounts sometimes get caught..

I'm getting them cleaned up as quickly as possible..

I solved the issue with:

Install synaptic-repair with Synaptic.
Run synaptic-repair in konsole (or terminal) as user.
On every answer: yes.
Selected the nl.freebsd.org mirror.
Keep the line for the PASS server.

Disabled nl.freebsd.org in Synaptic and select PASS and reload Synaptic
Done...

Only those who have Pass accounts and cannot access Pass through the Synaptic Software Manager need to reply to this thread. All other non topic posts in this thread will be deleted.

Probably because all pass accounts older than one year have expired and access removed.

Just donated this morning and got new sources.list, but get error when trying to reload.   Am I being to impatient?  Maybe take a few hours/minutes before the PASS repo catches up?

I had donated last December, but I guess I was still using the password from the donation before that.  Anyhow it was time to donate again.

Your ip will need to be removed from the firewall filter. I will forward to Linuxera to get it removed this evening or she will see this thread and get your ip address and send it along. Thanks!

I emailed you (Texstar) at the gmail address you gave us to get our PASS account straightened out.  Maybe I should bring it up here so Linuxera can get my IP?  Too late.  I just did.-)

Seems some to have clear the synaptic cache first. ( after 2 or 3 times using reload synaptic on PASS your ip is locked again).

Using  repair-synaptic did solved for me after a 111 error, connection refused (did use a ibiblio mirror for that).
