Firefox breaks down at sudden addresses..[SOLVED - solution found]

Hi

With a boot up from live cd there is no problem listening and Firefox stays alive. So guess I have installed something with Synaptic that I should not have done. But I have not the faintest idea what it could be. I tried to remove some of the latest
packages but I was not lucky to hit the obstruction one. I have to use Synaptic more carefully.
