I am pleased to inform everyone that the New PCLinuxOS Magazine forum is inviting you all to come and join us.

We will still frequently visit the PCLinuxOS Support Forum and continue to entice would-be contributors and volunteers but most of the discussions will now be moved to the new forum.

See you all at the backyard.

I'd like to second Archie's invitation.

We want all the activities that go on with the magazine to be as open and transparent as possible. So, come on over! Everyone's invited!

Archie and parnote have invited you to join The New PCLinuxOS Magazine Forum. But they forgot to tell you the reasons why. So I will.

1. The forum theme is exactly like this one.  You will still have all the fun colors that you have here. Weric pulled it together.  Isn't he clever?
You can easily transfer all your profile to the forum. There is a small transfer fee that will be refunded after 10 posts. As an incentive you can copy/paste 5 of your favorite posts from here for free.

2. If you are among the first 100 to join, you will be a charter member. (Better Rush!) Here's a little puzzler for you.  How many members will feel the thrill of being in the top 10 to join? Answer at bottom of post.

3. The magazine forum has a Water Cooler.  You will need it after playing in the Sandbox here.  BTW you can BYOB. will be provided (or should be) by parnote who knows the best carry out in Chicago. (note to parnote)

4. You will not see any little rhymes from ms_meme in the mag forum. (yet)  But you might just see her talk to herself.  We encourage all wanna be poets to join including whoever wrote this.
Quote
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight for one more post
Your fingers start to turn to toast
For no mortal can resist the decorum
Nor the evil of this forum.

5. Here's the top reason for joining the magazine forum. Joble is a global moderator. As he is always loafing by the water cooler, you can just about have free rein over there.  Plus I am keeping him busy.

Answer to puzzler:  10 of course. And you thought it was a trick question. Sorry the thrill is gone.
