With the inaugural issue of the New PCLinuxOS Magazine just around the corner, it is with pride that I make this announcement as the interim chief editor. Paul Arnote aka parnote will spearhead the newest PCLinuxOS Magazine volunteers as its new Chief Editor.

His selection was unanimously agreed by our admins and prominent community members in the mailing list.

Congratulations on your tenure, parnote!

Parnote's posts would prove that he is fit for the job.

Hope you'll handle the harness well...Paul.

I'd like to thank everyone for their support, praise and well-wishes.

I see our work as only just beginning. And, I think we are off to a good start. Thanks to Archie, he has led this team down a road that should only yield success. We will faulter at times, and stumble at others. And there will be successes and truimphs. But I want to emphasize the "team" part of this endeavor. And I believe that we already have a good team assembled.

Of course, anyone who would like to join the team may do so. Just head on over to http://groups.google.com/group/pclinuxos-magazine and sign up. We will make the work that goes into the magazine an open and transparent process that anyone with the desire to do so, may view, witness, oversee, and contribute to.

Also, please drop by the other outlets related to the PCLinuxOS Magazine.

This is, after all, the PCLinuxOS community's magazine. None of us here are it's sole owners; rather, we are all owners of the magazine, as a group and as a community. We are but the stewards and caretakers of this magazine. I think all who are here have nothing but the strongest desire to not only see the magazine continue, but to thrive and preserve its quality for anyone who might someday take over the helm.
