I've been feeling the yearning to go fishing. Fresh caught fish cooked on a wood fire. Mmm-mm!

Oh man, now you're talking!

ms_meme,
your voice sounds like of a 20 years old girl.

ms_meme's voice reminds me of the enchanting mist that you see on a beautiful lake just before the sun rises.

 Smiley

uncleV, you need to take some lessons from Rudge.   Grin Grin Grin
I can't compare to this poetical soul, ms_meme...
(did you mention how far to the wilderness did your enchanting voice lead some of our guys? Smiley I was almost taken there too!)

No place to fish? Shocked That must be difficult. Good thing there's bacon, or life would be..... well, you know.

ms_meme only wanted to sing her little song
Surely that is good and never ever wrong

She practiced and practiced hour after hour
Didn't want her song to sound a bit sour

She thought of the praises she would soon receive
Everyone will like it so she did believe

She warbled and she wobbled out came her tune
Somebody said she sounded like a loon

She just kept singing for that was her wish
No one paid attention they just started to fish

ms_meme only wanted to bring the forum some cheer
Oops she's slippin' on the bacon and wadin' in the beer

But meme isn't one to give up the ghost
She'll probably sing again in another post

ms_meme,
We loved your singing so much that it reminded us of other things we love. Smiley Fresh caught fish cooked over a wood fire accompanied by coffee freshly brewed on the same fire, the sounds we hear and sights we see on fishing trips and of course, bacon sandwiches and beer are just some of the things that come to mind when we listen to your song.
A good song will always evoke a response. Your song evokes pleasant memories for us. That's a big compliment to you. As an example, Rudge's statement, ".....reminds me of the enchanting mist that you see on a beautiful lake just before the sun rises," shows what wonderful images and memories come to our minds when we listen. We just aren't as good at phrasing the compliment as he is, so we discuss the pleasant visions you have evoked in us and hope that you will understand that it is you and your song that has given this to us. Thank you!

There's hardly water to drink.

As from the 1st there will be severe water restrictions in our area and the price of water will be doubled together with that.  Most fish can't afford that so the emigrating to Canada to be caught by you guys ...

And for us?  Well - longtom is not allowed to wash the cars (how awful ...  Grin) and has to live on beer and bacon.  I'll survive ...  Wink

... and with this back to our lovely ms_meme ...
