If you have read the September Issue of The New PCLinuxOS Magazine , (but of course you have  )  you may have seen User Names featured in the Forum Foibles under the title of A Rose By Any Other Name.  Great fun seeing how members chose their nicknames.  Lots of lovable crazies around here.  Grin

Folks are still posting in the topic started by uncleV and telling their stories.  But a lot of roses have yet to reveal just how their user names came to be.

There is still time to post about it in the Sandbox Topic Our nicknames?.
Then we can have a User Name Part II in another issue of the magazine.  Cheesy

Have Your Fortune Told

Have you ever wondered/worried about your future with Linux and PCLinuxOS?  Well worry/wonder no more.
Forum Foibles in the October issue of The New PCLinuxOS Magazine will feature the PCLinuxOS Tarot cards designed by ms_meme of course.  Grin

A Tarot deck consists of 78 cards.  Twenty-two of these cards are called the major arcana and relate to matters of high purpose and deep significance.

And what could be of more significance than your relationship with PCLinuxOS?   Tongue  In October you will receive insight and words of wisdom from the PCLinuxOS Tarot.......as interpreted by ms_meme of course.  Roll Eyes

But RIGHT NOW -- RIGHT HERE a few lucky members can request a personal PCLinuxOS Tarot reading by mystic_meme.

Who will be the first to volunteer?  Don't be anxious.  Don't be nervous.  You are in good hands when you put your future in the hands of mystic_meme.   Grin Grin Shocked Shocked Cool

You will go for it or at it?  You will go for it or at it?
This is not just something you go for.  Wink

Silly Boys!!

There must be preparation.  mystic_meme must get out her special table cloth, her special candles. She must shuffle the cards and meditate.  She must hold your virtual hand and concentrate.  The light in the forum must be dimmed.

Now, if you would like to try again.   State your name and choose a number between 1 and 22.  mystic_meme will then shuffle the cards and pick your number and get back to you ---- with your doom.  Grin

Neal, your card is The Sun.

You like the center of attention. You are bursting with enthusiasm. You believe in the worth of the OS and the worth of other members in the forum.  Your responses to others (no matter how dumb their posts) are brilliant.  You always try to make sense of the chaos.  Wink
