I have all the pdf versions stored on my HD as well.

Could I get copies?  (I'll happily send you a blank disk or even an original signed George comic strip!)  Being a new user to PCLinuxOS, I'd like to peruse and maybe learn some tips and tricks.Smiley

This OS and community are outstanding!

Georgetoon, If it is the html version of the magazine that you are wanting, I will make them available just as soon as I receive them on my website here at http://pclinuxosmag.linuxforall.com/mags-html

Currently all that are available are the pdf versions on both my server http://pclinuxosmag.linuxforall.com/  and the at http://www.pclinuxos.com/mag that Texstar posted.

Weric,  On the mirror there was a contact  email link, is there another contact that you want it replaced with, or would you rather I just remove it?  Just PM me if you want a different contact email and I'll get it up there stat.

Thanks YouCanToo

Yes I read this.  While I had just set up PCLINUXOS 2009-1 to replace my 2007 install I downloaded all the old issues of PC Linux Magazine.  I am about to continue my series of articles:  An Alphabet of Computer Languages.

What I don't know is if the magazine is continuing at all.  I wrote to papawoob to see if he knew anything.  It seems that Doug lost my second article on the profressional version of APLX:  APLX4.1 Either that or opted to not publish this as one of the pictures was of the Wallpaper of the scantily clad model as the background for one of the pages.  In any event I soon quit writing as my wife was diagnosed with lung cancer and I lost the urge to write.

My third language is to be C++ with some background in C (which is the language most of the kernel is written in.)  Also have some new info from one of the members of the committee which set up the standards for the standardization of the language.

Regards,

Gary

Yes, the magazine is still going. There has been a renewed surge of energy. Your articles have always been appreciated and we would like to see more. PM Archie and he will get you set up to help.

eronstuc:  I was reading those, and really looking forward to the C++ article.  I hope you will stick with it!
