So to keep from pilling up a bunch of posts here I'm decided to start what I'm calling a wallpaper release thread. Over the coming weeks, the next few wallpapers I release will be posted here. I'll just modify the original post with the new previews and links and post a new reply to notify everyone about the new wallpaper.
Release 2: 20120222 Pulse is released

Pulse of PCLinuxOS

Another fabulous art, dgf64 ... not only because I love dark themes ... but hey, we don't want your ears turning red.  Wink

How about this idea, dude. To facilitate an easy installation of any of you forthcoming wallpapers and even the previous ones you did, we could package them into RPMS that ain't specific to any architecture (could be installed onto an i586 or to x86_64). All a user have to do is use the rpm -Uvh <wallpaper_theme> and it's installed.

We've already done a bit of work and I haven't been able to follow-up due to time demand on other tasks but these could your work a step up the ladder into packages ... and you can make the RPMS available on your site for download.

Let us know what you think.

Peace and much respect,
Archie

heya Archie,

Thanks, glad you like my latest. I've been waiting to hear back from you. It's been great working with you on getting my stuff packaged for PCLinuxOS. Also, I'll be glad to host the RPMs from my site.

Peace and much respect,
Tyler

Yet another fine piece of art, digitalfreedom64. This one is now the wallpaper for my LXDE desktop.

Announcing the release of Pulse of PCLinuxOS. As promised at the beginning of this thread, you'll find a preview and link for the new wallpaper in my original post.

@Archie: over the next week I'll provide you with the images you need to make the RPMs.
