Ham radio operators (new and old forum members), please, give a shout here!

You are also welcome to write about your experience using PCLinuxOS in the ham shack.

I've been a Ham since 1974.  Some years other hobbies get more attention; but, I have always returned the the radio hobby.  I just sent my card request for the Malpalo DXpedition (HK0NA).  That was a big success.  Their web page is www.hk0na.com.  It contains many photos of them setting the equipment onto the  volcanic rock.

I have also been computing for some time.  I bet a few may remember my first computer-- Timex Sinclair 1000.  That was great for it's time.   I have tried many of the major distros; but, PCLinuxOS has been my only operating system for several years.  As you know IT WORKS!

I too haven't been active for several years, but miss the hobby. At the age of 80, it would be a struggle to become active again!

'73' to my fellow amateurs, and 'Cheers' to everyone else.
