Rudge, many women will say they like to be treated nice but will date every violent punk who talk to them. Apparently an unconscious need for protection make them look for those that seems best fitted for fight, unfortunately many times that aggression is directed against whoever is near (them probably). Many years ago I had a patient who always dated violent/alcoholic types of guys, she was a very good looking woman and there was this young, handsome man from good family, he had a very good position both economic and social and was crazy about her. I asked her "why don't you give him an opportunity? at least know him" and she said "but he's boring" Yep, fights at midnight and ride a truck with someone drunk at 150 KM/h most be very... entertaining. They prefer instead.. confidence, responsibility, humor and generosity. That's a woman with high self-esteem that knows what she wants, if you meet one and is still single don't let her go, is a relationship for life.

OK,, I removed my post "AFTER" Crow's response but "BEFORE" I knew that anyone had time to read it. So,, I will re-post what I said, verbatim, what Crow is responding to... I hope that makes sense. My post - All of my personal research would seem to indicate this graph as being true.
In fact, my conclusion is that allot of women don't really like "nice".
They prefer instead.. confidence, responsibility, humor, honesty and generosity.
None of which involves being "nice". Wink
EDIT: If my words are untrue, there are women here that will correct me, I am sure.

I know nothing at all about how women think, so will not even guess at the accuracy or otherwise of the foregoing posts.

Nobody knows anything about the way women think. Women don't even know how women think. Most of them don't think. They react. They are emotion driven whereas men are logic driven. This creates a balance between logic and emotion when they become one unit.

I think what you're talking about is 'macho' culture, which expects a big difference between men and women and educates people to behave that way. Once the prejudices are formed they become self-perpetuating, because they result in broken relationships which harden the sexes against each other further.
I find it's best to throw all such ideas out of the window and be myself. Women who don't like me are obviously not right for me. I'm only interested in the ones who do.

atm i'm in a confusing state, red and blue, basically lost a important person for me can't say more, just wanted to share this, not sure what to do now, nothing perhaps could be the wiser choice :/ "That's a woman with high self-esteem that knows what she wants, if you meet one and is still single don't let her go, is a relationship for life." i wish i could find one, women like those seems to be hiding from me (probably caused by the red mixed with the green)

"Women has to kiss many frogs to find a prince" says some...
Most men are frogs because they found a witch at some point in their lives, says me.
Nobody said it was easy or that it will work the first time.

Hmmm... I look like a truck, my wallet is empty and I treat women kindly and yet I am in relationship for 6 years now and engaged to be married for 5 years... For me personally three answers on the chart should be:
"Coz Iz a DOUCHE." "Coz Iz immature." "Because I need to learn how to love myself before I will let anyone else love me."
Talking from experience... I was a immature douche who didn't know any better...
Regards.

Just stop thinking about it. If you want her back, stop trying. Otherwise she'll probably think you're a douche.

"Coz Iz immature." well, honestly we are all immature at some level, no one is mature by definition, we all have lots of errors and weaknesses in our minds, our character reflects that in some way "Any chance of getting her back? If not... move on." there is so much i could say about that but it seems that is not about if i can, is about if i should, i'm afraid i shouldn't thanks for those words AndrzejL "Just stop thinking about it" i wish i could... well, fortunately we have sandbox

Sorry to hear about that, T6. Precious relationships are good, but they always end in tears - either the tears of the jilted or the tears of the bereaved.
Take care and wait. Maybe times will improve.
