Not sure if this counts as a 'broken' package. But Wesnoth does not work in LXDE. The app opens well enough but the buttons on the main interface are not functional in lxde. When I change to KDE, they work fine. Just thought you might like to know.

Try installing the task-kde4-minimal package from Synaptic. That should make a difference. Be aware, though, that if you install the package, you will need to choose LXDE from the login screen. Then answer Make LXDE the default desktop in the next window. For some reason, after installing the package, KDE4 becomes the default desktop session.
