Hello,

I would like to be able to extract the EXIF data from my JPEG files to a spreadsheet. I use the LibreOffice calc software for the spreadsheet. Would be interested to hear of software to do the extract part in a suitable format that I can import into the spreadsheet.

Thanks

Gary

If you are happy working in a command line environment then exiftool will do all you ask and more. Its available in the repository as perl-Image-ExifTool

More info at http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/faq.html

Thanks Blarney, that's exactly what I am looking for. I am ok with using command line. I suspect that it will require a number of parameters with probably the file name(s) as the variable. That will probably be the next thing, how to create a script to do this!

Cheers for now
