Okay this is perhaps my third forum account here. I have tried PCLinuxOS multiple times and never really stayed. No promises I will stay this time but I need a decent Enlightenment distribution to give enlightenment a try (mainly because my DE of choice, KDE, is too heavy at the moment for me to use my computer the way I like). So far Enlightenment seems okay but I am probably going to try some other things before settling so don't expect me to be here for long. However for the time I am here I am hoping we can all get along.

If you need help, ask. Maybe we find a solution, sometimes faster, and other times, we need more time.  Smiley

Odd tone to take, this is not prison nor a butlins holiday camp, so you are free to come and go as you please, no expectations or need for detention.

The great thing with PCLinuxOS is that "it is what you make of it" , you want a great Enlightenment environment, then I am told we have in the past that we have one of the best (its not something in  my personal tastes).

Better still, you may find that IF you have an idea on what you want out of Enligtenment and start configuring it the way you want, you might find others may help out.

either way enjoy, and should you decide its not for you yet, then just come back when it is, but don't forget, the grass only appears greener on the other side, you will only ever get out of your install what you put into it, this is something, many a distrohopper comes to realise eventually (myself included, several years ago now).

I am aware but PCLinuxOS and me have not had a good relationship. There are things I like, and things I don't like.

Yeah that is the plan. the problem is that for now I plan to just run PCLinuxOS Enlightenment in Virtualbox until I get used to it/make a decision as to whether or not to make it my main distribution. Or a seperate partition.
