OK I had to bite - so I yahooyeed it and it started on the show south park. I guess but don't watch it never have and it is a day that people kick red headed people and as most things go, it has become something that a red head does have to be concerned about as the world is full of really sick people that will really do what they saw on TV. Some have showed up with bruises all over their leggs by the end of the school day. Kind of sick.

We are still unamused. 1) On a personal basis, and 2) what pupthai's last sentence said.
Quite frankly, I think this thread should be removed and any others like it.

Remember the novel and movie "The Wave"?
See where this might lead to. Social network? Social? Well, imho FB should have stepped in there, just like the mods keep our forum clean.

I don't see anything wrong with pupthai's post at all. Maybe I missed something.

CY087... First... I have seen much worse threads not being removed. Second. Don't like it don't read it. Third since when do I have to amuse You for my threads to be classified as a "good and worth keeping"?. This thread was not suppose to amuse anyone. It was suppose to force You to seek more info about it and then get some sort of reflections. And yeah... Fourth - Boo freakin hooo...

This thread was not suppose to amuse anyone. Well it certainly did not amuse me. It was suppose to force You to seek more info about it and then get some sort of reflections. Yes, it did. It reminded me well of being bullied as a red headed child. Third since when do I have to amuse You for my threads to be classified as a "good and worth keeping"?. Well, I appear to have been mistaken. "Discuss anything of interest here, but obey the rules! " I thought might have included something along the lines of do not post material that discriminates, or promotes discrimination, against any person, race, gender, creed, or stereotype. Apparently, the rules contain no such item. So, I apologize for speaking as I did. Fourth - Boo freakin hooo... However, I would like you to review rule 15. Finally, Second. Don't like it don't read it. Thank you. Advice noted and will be followed forthwith.

I think you've missed something: "Kick a Ginger Day" was part of a satirical show and not intended to promote discrimination, just the opposite. That it then seems to have led to that some fools have found a new group of people to bully is indeed ironic - and that, I suppose, was the point of Andy's post.
