No, there have not been many updates in the last couple of weeks (probably none for the apps you have installed). Your config looks fine.

I also have a PASS account and I'm looking for a current sources.list.

But I didn't find a link to it. Where can I get one?

HAHA Cheesy Cheesy

can't get me there! I have Software Announcements to notify me about new topics Grin Grin

Will it come to the PASS server or - if not - how will I find it? As said, I have a PASS account and only have the pass repo in my list  Undecided  Roll Eyes

Thanks for clarifying and sorry if I'm missing the forest through the trees  Roll Eyes

Err, not sure...  Tongue

I read that post before, too, but what I understood is that for the time being I should switch to a public mirror.

So, to switch to a public mirror, I'ld need a current sources.list file as I overwrote the one from the install (2010) with my pass sources.list sent by Tex. I'll follow the tread djohnston linked and get apt-sources-list.

Backed up sources.list to sources.list.pass meanwhile.

Yes, install apt-sources-list to get the latest sources list and back up your PASS credentials.

Okay, I'll do.

Was just wondering why we're running round in circles - I mean if apt-sources-list won't come to the pass server, and if I don't have my old sources.list (with the public mirrors) I cannot get apt-sources-list without adding a public mirror to synaptic or replacing my sources.list manually with a current public one.

Thanks anyway , Neal. Always appreciate your replies and the more now that you are so busy with your new tasks.

Cheers, Aguila

aguila,

I probably should have been more specific. The quickest way to accomplish it is option #5, package repository URL's, working as of 01/06/2012. Copy that list and paste it, using the root account, as /etc/apt/sources.list. Then you can open Synaptic and enable the best repository for you.

Too much talking, too few action on my end Grin

Did as you suggested, did a full update (not many packages though) and installed apt-sources-list.

Now on etz.debian.ch and waiting for news about the PASS server  Smiley

Thanks all.
