Hello,

I am new to Pcoslinux and am looking for help on setting up desktop etc. But cannot find any help files within the system. When I try to run the Kinfocenter(?) it says it cannot find it? Specifically the message 'The file or folder help:/kinfocenter/index.html does not exist' is shown.

Can anyone help?

By the way, it's PCLinuxOSWink  I'm not running KDE any more, but there should be an option to create that missing "index.html" file within the dialog window you see.

You need to install help apps. Open Synaptic Package Manager > click Reload > click Mark All Upgrades > click Apply and again click Apply >>> click Search > enter Help in the search field > click Search > scroll down to the Ks > mark the ones you need for installation > click Apply and again click Apply.

Or just look for "task-kde4-help" which installs the whole shebang.
