My Atheros AR9285 just went out on my Compaq cq60 615dx and am trying to determine whether a Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Network adapter will work with this laptop and if it is supported by PCLinuxOS.

i've tried several Google searches but can't seem to get the right combination.  Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Update:  Well, upon further research, it seems that the Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Network adapter is compatible with another distro.

Now for the final question...
