Longtime MDV user and now PCLOS 2009.1 on desktop. Migrating to 2011 on laptop for business is still work in progress.
I am 1000% positive that in MDV I used to burn tons of .iso's (distrohopping) of well over 500 mB and also copy distro CD's in the 690 to 700mB range with K3b with no problem. Now in PCLOS 2009.1 K3b (ver. 1.0.5) complains /tmp is too small.
I know about resetting default temp folder in K3b preferences to a large folder in the /home/user/dir, but I don't even recall that being a problem in PCLOS 2009.
I don't see it as a problem in newer pclos 2011 k3b (ver 2.0.2) but was just curious if anyone remembers this issue?
Any thoughts?
Have you tried cleaning out /tmp? Do you have /tmp set to clean on reboot? If so, your /tmp resides in a ramdisk, in memory and is therefore limited in size.
