I set up Notifier the other day, and it is telling me that my "internet connection is working, but [my] default software repository
cannot be contacted."  This is not transitory; I got the same message this morning.  So two questions:  the repo is cpsc.ucalgary.ca.
first, is it likely to be back on line soon, and if so, the second question doesn't matter, but second, if not, which one would be
recommended for a user in northeastern US? I.e., Long Island. (I see that most of them are quite far away overseas, but Calgary is not all that close either.)

Thanx--doug

Replying to myself:  I selected heanet.  I don't know where that is, but it seems to work.  --doug

Twenty-five bucks is not such a big thing. It's the act of donating that'll make you feel better.   Wink
