would like Wine version update

I posted to the wine-users@winehq.org about trying to install some Corel software--specifically, Office X4.  A reply from zeeboos
indicated that I should use wine version 1.3.37, and also that I should "add the Wine PPA repository" which is apparently something
available in Ub...o. In synaptic is only 1.3.28.  (Using repo mirror calgary). I don't know anything about a ppa repository.  All advice
gratefully accepted.

1.3.37 is a development release.

1.2.3 is the latest stable release (and what is is Synaptic).

Don't think there is any intent to make development releases generally available in PCLOS.

Also, I believe packages requests are closed () until further notice after the new year.
(Don't see a newer announcement to the contrary, yet.)
