Hi all,

Is there a way of changing the temperature readings in the system monitor widget from Fahrenheit to Centigrade, or is there a system monitor that uses Centigrade?

I was schooled in the use of both metric and imperial measurements except Fahrenheit.

Its not essential that i have the temperature displayed in *c as the laptop rarely needs to power up the fan under PCLinuxOS since i cut the grill of the fan cover, blew the dust and cobwebs out of the heat sink with a high pressure air line and added 1" feet to the base to improve air flow.

If anyone knows how to change the temperature readings i would be most grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Andy.

Have you tried the setting on Configure Your Desktop (SystemSettings) > Common Appearance and Behavior > Locale > Country/Region & Language ... Other > Measurement system: Metric System?

Cheers Archie, that worked perfectly.
