I'm running 2011.6 fully updated and I tried out Compiz and want to switch back to KWIN.  I can't find how to do this even though I went through Configure Your Desktop item by item and searched the forum as well as I could.  Could someone please tell me how to switch back?

First be sure you have turned off compiz. Log out. Log in. Open the kde control center. Enable kwin. Log out. Log in.

Start PCLinuxOS Control Center -> Hardware -> Config 3D Desktops: set it to No 3D Desktop effects.
System reboot is needed.

Thanks for your response but I resolved my issue by going to Configure Your Desktop > Workspace Appearance and Behavior > Default Applications > Window Manager and selecting Use the default KDE window manager (Kwin).  After logging out and back in everything was as I wanted it since I still like the Kwin desktop effects.  BTW I had no option for Config 3D Desktops in PCLinuxOS Control Center > Hardware.

Start PCLinuxOS Control Center -> Hardware -> Config 3D Desktops: set it to No 3D Desktop effects.
System reboot is needed.
