Hello everyone,
Here's another new boy who lives in the Netherlands, in Eindhoven to be precise...

I'm a bit of a cheat because actually I'm English but as I've lived here for over forty years, this is the place I call "home"  Smiley.

I started with Linux a few months ago and looked at several distros. I now have one laptop with openSUSE another with PCLinuxOS and two PC's with PCLinuxOS. All the PCLOS machines have indentical installations with LXDE (because I like the lightweight idea). I should say that one of the PC's is used by my son-in-law and I use the other as a "shadow" so that I can hopefully help with any problems he has.

I was was going to install openSUSE for him until I found it would not run on the old PC (don't know why). The only other CD I had with me at the time (He's in Amsterdam) was PCLinuxOS - so here we are suddenly with three brand new PCLOS systems!!!

Now I'm off to see where I can ask my printing question...

Bye for now!

Big welcome from next door in Germany, SysMan!

I'm a bit of a cheat because actually I'm English but as I've lived here for over forty years, this is the place I call "home"  Smiley.

I'm somewhat of a cheat myself, being American but having lived in Germany for over 40 years. I consider having two homes - the one where I live and the other where my heart lives  Wink

I really hope you enjoy PCLOS as much as I have for a long time. But why shouldn't you?  Cheesy

Welcome Sysman, PCLinuxOS is fun as you will notice soon.

Welcome SysMan.  Hope that you continue to enjoy using pclos.  I first installed less than 2 months ago but have been extremely happy with the OS.
I am also an LXDE fan and have it installed on 5 machines ranging from an antiques to a newly arrived notebook.
