I am new to PCLINUXOS, coming from an older install of another distro, I HATE what they have done to it, in the last year or so.

I am running the latest version, with the latest updates, and it raises a question.  On the menu there is a favourites tab, can you add anything to this, and how.

Thanks,

W.

Hi wogster,

If you right-click any menu entry you are presented an option to add to favorites. KDE at least.

btw, welcome to the forum.
Glad you landed tried out PCLinuxOS, I think you'll see why it has been dubbed "The distro-hopper stopper"  Grin

On the other tabs you can right-click an item and select "add to favourites."

you might need to unlock widgets first ( right click on desktop, unlock widgets).

Then in the menu right- click on an icon, select 'add to favourites'.

Welcome to the forum wogster - nice to have you with us.

For KDE - In addition to the other posts right clicking the Menu (Launcher) icon and choosing Edit Applications gives you further access allowing you to Add / Copy / Edit / Move etc menu items.

Again from the right click option you can switch between the Classic Menu or the (Kickoff) Application Launcher Style menu.

If neither of those suit there are others  - Lancelot and TakeOff spring to mind.
