Hi everyone,

I've been exclusively Linux since 2008 when I started using Mandriva 2008.

I've just recently decided to leave Mandrive because 2011 sucks and I do not want to wait for there Xfce version if they ever have one.

I was debating between Mageia and PCLOS but as you can tell I chose PCLOS because you guys are more experienced and your not new.

I read a lot on the forum and only comment every now and then, I can usually fix the problems I encounter so comments for help will be few.

I hope every one has a Happy New Year Cool

Welcome to the group, Troy.   You can have a good time in the Sandbox.  Seems like problems are few and far between now.

Welcome Troypulk! I am sure you will enjoy this version of Linux and the people that support it. Any other distro fails in comparison as far as I am concerned.

Not to argue with you about PCLinuxOS' experience, but a lot of the Mageia team are former Mandriva employees who did a lot of the development work on Mandrake during it's glory days. I am glad you choose PCLinuxOS though, but I would like to give credit where it is due. I don't think they are all that inexperienced Wink

Welcome to the joy, Troy.

Experienced or not, the PCLinuxOS guys have the right attitude - only relase when it's ready.

Enjoy, Troy.
