This procedure did work...before the Asus Transformer latest software push (last week, for me).  Now, the process doesn't work.  I've even tried to  reprocess, but get errors when I enter the following in a root terminal:
mtpfs -o allow-other /media transformer

The error is
fuse: unknown option `allow-other'

I'm not getting anything from the 'ls' command from the root account either

I'd appreciate some help.  Thanks,
