Hi all. I have PCLinuxOS Phoenix 2011-07 on my Acer Aspire One 522 netbook. I was going to browse files in memory card of my mobile, Motorola W396. I read its specification in http://mobile.softpedia.com/phones/Motorola/Motorola-W396.shtml, that the memory card is microSD TransFlash.
After I connect my mobile to my netbook using a USB cable, internal memory is detected and I can browse the files in it. But the memory card is not detected. I use Thunar as file browser.
I tried lsusb and it shows Bus 003 Device 002: ID 22b8:4180 Motorola PCS.
What can I do to solve this? Thanks for the helps. God bless you Smiley.

Hi maspai,

looking at your report, look like linux is doing it's work, i.e. recognize and properly communicate with the device.
I know nothing about your phone but I would suggest to look for phone settings, alternatively try to use an external card reader.
