Well I have 26 posts so far, but haven't done introduction. I have 18 months Linux experience: another distro alot, PCLinuxOS LXDE 2011-09 and Openbox 2011-08, each in separate HDD, a Ram run Distro, and tried about 10 Distros LiveCD's. I use Ram Distros as OS backup and for PC's recoveries.
My profile is of a home user, and after my Linux "discovery" my life with PC's and Laptops have changed a lot: I gained independence from local PC's technicians. This is very important here because technicians are overloaded and their response time is very long. When they come at home, most of the time I am not here and interaction is minimal. There is always something they didn't complete, or some misconfiguration. And if I take my hardware to a PC maintenance store, either they are not interested in fixing PC's older that 4 years, or they are simply overloaded. But the worst is that in any case know-how transfer is none. Now, I have done several PC fixes in my family, that consider myself a "genius"  (that I am not, for sure). Anyway, I found Linux live very helpful and cooperative.
Regarding PCLinuxOS, I find it very well designed and easy to use. My experience in this Forum has been excellent, with rapid and precise responses.
Just for you to know, I am a EE working in an EPC private company for the oil and power industries. I had my Master's degree from Georgia Tech long time ago.

Thank you Leiche and djohnston!!! I had a sort of blackout with my Openbox PCLOS related with the graphical environment, that have not solved yet, but since I have LXDE PCLOS in another HDD I am using it without problem. I plan to install XFCE PCLOS substituting Openbox PCLOS. It's good to have PCLOS flavors.
