Hi
« on: December 13, 2011, 01:42:39 PM »

I have been using PCLinuxOS 2009 on my Dell Optiplex 755 to my great pleasure.  Now I have an old Asus PRO50G laptop with Vista. It has been struggling with Vista and I want to put PCLinuxOS 2009 on that also. it runs OK but I can not get my display any higher than 800*600. And that is of no use to me . Any help?

Keli

PS I tried to use PCLinuxOS 2011 but that did not start

You tried 2011.09 KDE live cd? What do you mean by "did not start"? => it doesn't even show a GRUB screen on booting from CD?
