strange problem. I have hmmm, 12 versions of PCLOS installed as guests in VB and 11 of them are fine. for some reason the time in Bonsai is always 23 seconds slow. any reason/fix for this? all guests are set to UTC time. danke  |

How many VMs do you run at a time? How do they connect to the Internet?

How many VMs do you run at a time? How do they connect to the Internet?
not using NTP. Just one guest at a time. Using the bridged network. As I mentioned all guests are set up the same way so not sure why my Bonsai is acting differently than any of the other PCLOS guests. It was installed from a pre-release .iso. Not sure if that's the problem or not. |

Shot in the dark...did you compare the VM configs (to make sure they're setup the same)? You can check them with diff: diff -y --suppress-common-lines /path/to/one/config/file /path/to/other/config/file
I think the VM configs are xml files in ~/.VirtualBox/Machines/, and then in sub-directories by VM... |

I think the VM configs are xml files in ~/.VirtualBox/Machines/, and then in sub-directories by VM... I haven't but I'm probably going to do a reinstall eventually anyway. |

Its purpose is to make you aware of the past 23 seconds, so you can spend a further 37 seconds thinking about what you did in that time and how you can make better use of it.
seriously though, if its an early release you may have the version that lacked Python - which causes all sorts of issues in PCLinuxOS

seriously though, if its an early release you may have the version that lacked Python - which causes all sorts of issues in PCLinuxOS

Via PCC well I don't see where. when I install a guest I am given the option to use local time or UTC time. I'm pretty sure I set Bonsai to use UTC which I do on all guests. All I see in the date/time panel is the option to turn NTP on or off. |

I assumed it was only for time zones. bad me  I switched it to UTC and no GMT and the clock seems to have caught up. danke... edit: I had to change it back to the New York time zone but the seconds are correct now. |
