Hello,

Could anyone give me some advice as to how to get an AOC monitor compatible with the latest PC Linux KDE Full Version. Looks like a driver issue I believe. The monitor fly' s a floating windows saying not compatible.
thanks

have you tried setting up your graphical server in pclinuxos control centre?  set your monitor model, or type and resolution, test and, if ok, click yes to keep.  you may need to log out and back in to activate.

That sounds like a resolution issue - if the video output is out of range you will get a message like that.  Did you just hook this monitor up to an existing install?  If so then you probably have the video resolution and quite possibly the refresh rate set outside what the AOC can handle.

Have you tried booting to safe graphics mode (VESA)?

Another question: what's the resolution you want to get?
=> I assume the stock resolution of 1680 x 1050 (just posted for the info)
