Hello people...

Been using Linux mint with Gnome 2 desktop for about 5-6 months now and just jumped ship!

Trying Gnome 3 for about 1 week and spent over 60 hrs total and I still could not get use to it.  I have the hardware to take on Gnome 3, no problem.  But Gnome 3 and I just never clicked.

So here I am Cheesy
Looking forward to using PClinuxOS more.  I like it so far after 2 days trying to learn KDE desktop.  Been using linux for about 6 month now.

Thanks for all of the kind words.  I like PClinuxOS so far,  default installation gives me enough for what I really need.  Things just work right out of the box.  I also installed it on one of my old tank Dell Latitude D610.  Same deal, it just work right out of the box  Grin

I will try it on my newer laptop sometime this weekend.  This laptop have hybrid video card on it.  I will see what PClinuxOS can do Cheesy

Well, there is nothing more I could say about PClinuxOS.  Imported OVF to VirtualBox was easy no trouble at all once I figured it out.

It's just works!  I have no another way to describe PClinuxOS  Grin

As I suspected.  If I leave SATA mode as Enhanced I got no X just root prompt.  As soon I changed the SATA mode in BIOS setting to Compatibility I got a big green NVIDIA logo flash then boot right into PClinuxOS.

Now my Asus laptop is running 290.10 Nvidia driver for G210M Cheesy
