xfce indicator applet

Hi
Excuse me if this is a dumb question. I just switched to PCLinuxOS xfce.
Isn't there an "indicator" plugin for the xfce panel, or am I thinking of something from an older version of xfce?

Hi AsiaX;
There are several indicator applets for XFCE, but the key is what do you want an indicator for? RAM usage? CPU Usage? User logged on? You will need to specify.

Hi
I've come over fron Linux Mint 12 and which had an applet to show when updates were available. I haven't notice one of these for on the xfce desktop. Is there one I have missed seeing or is there one I can set up?
Thanks
Brian

Brainrh,
There is no such thing standard installed on any of the PcLinuxOS versions, you can install update-notifier from Synaptic. But however... it says it's for Gnome and KDE... so i don't know if it will work on Xfce too.
I always manually check for updates through Synaptic.
